The Installation Settings button does not appear to work on any tab of the Family Group Sheet (for Web or CD) or Individual Summary Report (for Web or CD) standard reports.
They appear to work normally on the non-web/CD versions of these reports.

Re: Inoperative Installation Settings Button in certain repo
Have you upgraded from a much earlier version of FH?
Those Reports now end with (for Web, CD or DVD) so your Report Templates are out of date.
I seem to recall running into a similar problem with FH V5 some time ago.
Does the above scenario fit your case?
Do you have both (for Web or CD) and (for Web, CD or DVD) versions available?

Re: Inoperative Installation Settings Button in certain repo
Thanks Mike. Solved!
I have progressively updated over the years from v3 and had wrongly assumed that FH upgrades over-wrote the entire standard reports folder. In light of your explanation, it seems that existing standard reports are overwritten by newer versions if of same name but that a report name change inserts a new report leaving old version in place. I will delete the redundant web/CD reports.
