* deleting individual records

Hi there.
I have made a bit of a mess with the individual records window.
could somebody advise how to delete some of the records? I appreciate that this will leave some gaps in the numbering system but that cannot be helped

If only a few, then select a record you want to delete and press the Delete key on your keyboard. Repeat for each record.

After you have deleted all you need, you can renumber those remaining by using Tools\Work with Identifiers\Individuals.

There is one thing to beware of when renumbering records.
If you have any Saved FH Charts they will probably NOT survive the renumbering, so I would advise never to renumber unless it is absolutely vital.
