The wrong age is displayed in the individual summary report under publications for one person. The d.o.b. is clear at 1863 and the marriage date is clear at 1882. Age should be shown as 19 - 20 but is displayed as 34 - 35. I have tried all I can but it will not display correctly for this one person. Why?

If you look at the facts tab is the "problem" age shown there, if so is it in brackets (i.e. calculated)?

I am not clear what you mean by publications, do you mean in a caption of a photograph?

Perhaps you could attach a PDF of the report here so we can see the problem.

I am not sure what you are referring to as "publications".

If it is a custom Fact that you have defined then check the Date is correct in the Facts tab of the Property Box.

Perhaps you are talking about a Caption under a Picture?
In this case in the Property Box on the Multimedia tab, Edit the image and ensure the Date at the top is the Marriage Date of 1882.
From your description it sounds as if this Date is currently set to 1897.

If my guesswork is wrong then please explain in more detail where the problem lies.
You could even attach a screenshot.

Publications = Individual summary report. The dates are accurate i.e. not est, calc etc. This is exactly the same as many other entries and they show the correct age. I am quite familiar with FH and not a newbie but I find this anomaly rather odd.

To be more accurate: "PUBLISH" = Individual Summary Report.

The wrong age displayed against this person at the time of marriage spoils the printouts for my records, that's all but if it's a bug it should be reported to the powers that be.

Is there an age mis-recorded in the marriage event? (I suspect you've checked but just in case...)

If the dates of birth and marriage are 1863 and 1882, respectively, the age at marriage should be 18-19. It would certainly be useful to know exactly what is shown in the Facts tab of the Property Box for this individual (as Jane asked a few days ago).

Picking up on a few earlier comments:
HelenW: Can't be an Age recorded because cornf40 says it displays as (age 34-35).
PeterR: 18-19 or 19-20 is not important ~ the problem is it displays as (age 34-35).

It does indeed sound very odd!
It must be something unusual about the Birth Event Date &/or the Marriage Event Date.

Does the problem Individual have more than one Birth Event or Marriage Event?

Does the Individual Summary Report for the Spouse display the Marriage age correctly?

Could you attach two screen-shots of the Facts tab of the Property Box with all the Facts visible.
One with the Birth Event selected and one with the Marriage Event selected.
