Hi
I have Version 3 (intending on upgrading for Christmas) and I have recently changed computers from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1. I transferred all the document/images to the new computer. My folder structure has remained the same relative to my family historian file, but the of course Windows has changed the file structure. Is there any quick way (maybe find...replace) to change the file locations of all my images in the gedcom/fh file so I can view them in the program again?
Thanks
Melanie

Have you watched how_to:changing_external_file_links|Changing External File Links? The video was done on V5, but the process has not changed much.

Also have you copied the glossary:family_historian_program_data_folder|> Family Historian Program Data Folder?
This contains most of your customised Diagrams, Reports, Queries, etc.
But see how_to:move_settings|> Move Family Historian Settings and Projects for special cases such as Core Diagram Settings and Record Window Columns.

Thanks for that. I have now fixed it and can see the few documents which are missing (thankfully I have the originals).
I will go back to my old laptop to check the data folder, though I suspect I haven't got much to transfer.
