Merging projects & keeping named list record notes

Mike thankyou for your work on the Export Gedcom Plugin. I think it will help me a great deal but
would like some input. I have maintained seven different FH project files due to one of them
requiring extra privacy which in the early days was not fully honoured by split tree helper. I have
merged them but only for occasional use such as to make a web-CD to display on my ipad. Long
term I would like to end up with one master project, but record notes within named lists have
always been my blocking point. I have just done one quick test of your Export Gedcom Plugin &
see all my named list record notes in the notes tab.
Am I correct in saying that for each current project I could run the plugin which would produce
a gedcom containing 'notes' rather than 'named list record notes'? I could then merge the
NOTES tab in the plugin gedcom back into the project file. Repeat for each project, then tackle
my normal merge process to create one master project, including media. Over time I could then
recreate my named list record notes as I want by cutting & pasting.
File root & flags are not as important to me but will be noted. Charts I have previously looked at
& most are held also as Pdf. Others I know I can recreate if I want as I have the text scheme
saved. Media I generally copy in & link at the end, probably for the reasons recently outlined in the KB
exporting gedcom with multimedia.
I'm not ready to do this yet, but have I covered all my bases?
