I am experimenting with screen layout. With FH stretched over 2 screens of different height, I find a floating Property box quite flexible. However it always seems to be "on top", even when not in focus. When the other windows are tiled there is no problem moving their focus, the one in focus goes "on top", except for the floating property box which never "goes behind".
Is there a setting for this, or is that the way it is. I can only think that the floating property box is always "actively linked" to the current focused window.

I think that is the way it is.
However, if you drag position & resize the Property Box to outside the main FH window, then FH remembers that position & size at least throughout that login session.

yes, I had discovered your suggestion, but it is often useful to have a very large property box to get a complete "picture", and in that case the extended screen is wasted, but even so can be useful in that format, just have to close/resize the property box more often.
another one to add to my wish list, also it might be useful to have the usual window option of close+minimize+restore, instead of just close.

Nothing will change if it is only on your wish list.
