lists on start up

Post by Johnr65 » 23 Jun 2014 15:01

As a newbie to FH5, I'd like to know how to change the way my list of names starts up. Currently it brings up the surnames by relationship order. I'd like to see them in A-Z order so that I can research them in order and then is there a way to revert to the other list?

On the Individual Records Window just click on the columns headings to sort. Use Alt click to sort in reverse order.

Applies to any column, including any ones that you add to the display - right click on the column headings and select configure (you can also sort ascending or descending via this right click).

FH remembers the sort order for next time you go in, so it's likely at some point you clicked on the header by accident to get them in relationship order.
