FH on a mac

Post by barbaramac » 06 Mar 2014 03:30

Hi, I am running v5.9 on windows 8.1, I now wish to change and use my Mac computer which runs Mavericks, will Family Historian load onto the Mac? do I need to install Parameters? I guess there still is no version released for Mac?

Many thanks for any reply :?:

You will need Parallels or something similar. Parallels has a version which enables you to copy all of your Windows installation to your Mac and includes a suitable cable. If you have FH installed then it will appear on your Mac as well and should not need to be re-installed.
