Here are some things to consider.
(1) There is a
Wish List entry requesting that close family
BMD Events should appear in the
Facts tab.
See
Ability to show deaths/marriages of close relations on the Events Tab and add your
Vote.
(2)
Publish > Family Group Sheet or a
Descendant Diagram both show all
Child BMD Events including
Burial.
(3) From the
Main tab of the
Property Box a click on the
Child entry quickly links to their
Facts.
(4) I assuming you have created a
Source Record for the
Burial records, and that the Child's
Burial Event has a
Citation to that
Source Record as your proof of that fact.
Presumably the
Burial records also identify the parents.
So both parent
Individual Records should also have a
Citation to the same
Source Record.
This will in appear in the yellow
Sources pane with a title that identifies the
Child Burial.
(5) If you still feel the need for a
Child's Burial Custom Event then what you have created is along the right lines, and there are no available downloads.
In
Tools > Work With Fact Sets > Properties for the
Child's Burial try the following:
Ensure
Normal Time Frame is set sensibly to either
Life or perhaps
Post-Marriage.
The sentence
Template could be
{individual's} child was buried {date} {place} but does not identify the child.
To identify the child needs an extra data item to hold the child's name.
This is where an
Attribute is sometimes better than an
Event, because it has a
Value.
c.f. The
Occupation or
Possessions Attributes.
To define a
Custom Attribute first delete the
Child's Burial Custom Event, and then when using
New, set
Fact Type to
Attribute.
Everything else is the same as an Event, but the sentence
Template can be
{individual's} child {value} was buried {date} {place} where {value} is the child's name entered in the Attribute Fact.
You will have to delete and re-enter any
Child's Burial Events as similar Attributes.
