Re: Publish - Create a Website
Mike
My apologies.
I did create the website with V5 on 27 Jan, uploaded it on 28th
and installed V6 on 29th!!
Trying to do too many things at once.
NB Having done another run of the create I found that the upgrade didn't preserve the website report settings so I had to experiment before I got back to my original settings.

Re: Publish - Create a Website
Bill, do you mean the Publish > Miscellaneous Reports > Family Group Sheet/Individual Summary Report (for Web, CD or DVD) Report Type settings?
These normally survive any FH Upgrade.
Or do you mean the Publish > Create a Website Wizard settings stored in the Settings folder alongside the Media folder?
These normally survive any FH Upgrade but will get reset if you create/import a new Project.

I mean the latter - ie Create a website Wizard.
The settings were OK 27 Jan on v5 but had reset by today.
I hadn't created or imported any new projects.
Just our tests with the upload wizard.

Do you mean FTP Website Manager Plugin upload tests?
To create files for those upload tests, did you use the Create a Website Wizard and change its Settings to produce a subset of files or use a different folder?

Mike
All I did to create the test files was copy index.html to a new folder.
The Wizard wasn't used in any of the tests.
Checking my Windows File History backups
I can see it was updated 27 Jan when I created a website using V5
That web site is correct for the settings I had last year.
The File History then says it was updated 8 Feb around the time I ran the Wizard under v6.0.2
I don't think I accidentally hit the button for Installation Settings but I think that would be the only cause other than the V6 upgrades.

Re: Publish - Create a Website
My picture settings (in individual's reports) were reset when publishing a website for the first time with v6.

I think I might have found where the reset of the website settings occurred.
One of the tests I did on my other thread relating to FTP on 31 Jan between 19.47 and 21.59
involved an FTP session with a different server - your Microsoft account I think.
I did this using the Sample Project - would that have affected the settings?

Re: Publish - Create a Website
No, Plugins have no impact on Create a Website Wizard Settings, not even in the same Project let alone a different Project.
