Marriage Address

Post by marilyn57 » 17 Apr 2013 17:02

Please could anyone tell me if there is a way to put two seperate addresses in the marriage facts. When I add the marriage address it puts the same one in for both the male and female. Just realised that this is probably for the address after marriage, but do I have to put the pre marriage addresses in the notes then or is there a way to do this.

Thanks

you can use a residence fact for each individual, with the date being that of the marriage. If you use Ancestral sources to enter a marriage, it will do this for you.

Personally the Place and Address I use for the Marriage is the place the marriage took place, for example St Martins Church.
