Installing on two computers

Post by strickley » 28 Mar 2013 16:45

I have version 5 installed on my desktop computer. I would like to also install it on a laptop - not to edt in any way, but to be able to look at when I'm not at home (visiting relatives to talk about it etc).
Is this possible?

Thanks

Installing on two computers

The user license agreement for Family Historian allows the installation on two computers as long as they are both for your own use and are not used concurrently.

There is an article in the FHUG Knowledge base which details additional items you may wish to transfer, over and above your Project Folder.

You might also want to look at using one of the Sync tools such as Dropbox, Google Drive or similar so if you do want to edit on the second computer you can keep both up to date automatically.
