Deleting Record Flags

Post by susanpenter » 19 Mar 2013 23:35

I have spent a couple of evening searching both the Family Historian menu's and guidance but I can find no way of deleting a record flag. I have added expressions into my diagrams to add the census flags etc and have removed the record flags from the diagram options. I would now like to totally delete the now redundant record flags so the only ones left with the option to use are the ones like work in progress etc which I still want.

Can anyone cast any light upon how to totally delete them.

Many thanks,
Susan

Susan:

In the Help, How to Delete a Record Flag is the page you need.

All the features you need are in Tools > Work with Named Lists and Flags.
Use task action 3 and the Flag Status button.

in addition to Mike's advice, it is also worth noting that the flags will remain available until you have closed and then reloaded FH.

Many thanks all,

the crucial stage was the restarting of FH.

They have all duly vanished :-)
