Is there a way in which I can enter, and have clearly identified, individuals whose status in my tree is not yet confirmed. As an example two brothers, Smith, say, each marry a 'Mary' so identification of which of two Mary Smith deaths is which is not immediate. Using FH to store uncertain data does have risks, I appreciate, but a clearly visual (and a stored flag perhaps) could avoid the risks.

Tentative Entries
There are several ways to do this, my preferred method is a combination of research notes and labelled text.
I use an Attribute Fact as per the research notes suggestions
http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... o_do_lists
You can then either set the attribute to Tentative or use a label in the note which you can then pick up on diagrams. When printing reports you can exclude or include research note facts as you see fit, depending on who you are sending them to.
