Editing Report Header/Footers

Post by NickiP » 26 Feb 2013 12:43

How do I edit the default header/footer in a report with something more meaningful please?

A search of the forum found a posting about this for Version 4 which said it was in the Report Options, but I can't see anything meaningful in there for Version 5.

I can get around it by saving as a RTF, editing, and then resaving as a PDF to email to someone, but would prefer to change it within the program.

Many thanks.

See Report Options > Page Layout tab where you can set the Header/Footer.

It can include any plain text or functions such as =Title() or =Record().

Try Report Options > Page Layout tab. Then simply edit the header and footer text boxes.

Thanks tatewise and delwoodman, I'd completely missed that under page layout.[smile]
