Moving wife plus family

Post by davidm_uk » 16 Feb 2013 19:30

I have two Robert Xxxxx's, born a year apart in the same village. Each has one spouse plus children and descendants.

I have now discovered that I have the wives (plus children and descendants) with the wrong Robert's. The Robert's are with their correct parents.

What's the best way of interchanging the wives (plus children and descendants) all all associated facts and citations?

Go to the Focus Window and center the window on the Wife.

Right click on Robert and unlink him. Repeat for the other one and then add the correct Robert to the correct Wife.

Remember if you get lost you have the Edit>Undo option to put it back.

Thank you Jane.

Having used FH for a long time, way before Focus Window arrived, I've never used bothered to use it much before. I must pay it more attention!
