Hello - I've only recently started using FH, previously I'd used RootsMagic. The data was transferred from the latter to the former.
1st query - what;s the difference between Census & Census (family). I can't see the answer under Help.
2nd query - when I look at an individual, there's a box on the right hand side headed up 'Individual: John Smith' and under that tabs for Main, Facts etc. When I look under Facts, I can see my references to Census data I've collected but I'm unable to see all the data I've entered for that census record. How do I see it?
Regards, and grateful for any help,
Gordon.

1. Census Family is supported as part of the GEDCOM support, most users do not use it as it does not define who within the family are actually on the census.
2. Depending on how your census information was recorded it may be against the Source record rather than the citation.
Click on the Census Fact, then click on the Source link in the property box, to pull up the citation. With the citation selected you may see all your data or you may have to pull up the Source record using the yellow triangle icon.
If you are entering new census information we recommend using Ancestral Sources [wiki]ancestralsources:index[/wiki].

To clarify what Jane says a little more, you may not realise that the GEDCOM format supports several Record Types, e.g. Individual, Family, Note, Source, Multimedia, etc.
These are all potentially visible via the FH Records Window view, on separate tabs, but some tabs are hidden by default.
To show them use Tools > Preferences > Records Window tab, and set Record Type Display Options all to Always show or Hide if none.
Whereas Census Facts are attached to Individual Records, Census (family) Facts are attached to Family Records, i.e. a Family couple.
A subset of Family Facts appear on the Individual Property Box > Facts tab with a red bullet on the left, e.g. Marriage, Divorce & Census (family).
To see the Source Record(s) linked to a Fact you may have to open the yellow Sources Pane, by clicking the yellow scroll icon near top right with tooltip Show Sources.
See the Knowledge Base Family Historian Guides under Using and Recording Sources, especially Using Sources.
