I have been using Family Historian for several years, and I've managed to learn most things that I need to do either by trial and error or from visiting the forums and knowledge base.  But I can't find anything to show how I can get Addresses (as well as Places) to display in Diagram Text Schemes.  I suspect there's a simple answer to this, so if someone can give me a nudge in the right direction I'd be very grateful.
Many thanks in advance for any help.  Stuart

Take any standard Text Scheme item such as Birth or Marriage or Death.

Edit the item, and Copy & Paste the Place Data Reference at the end of the Template.
e.g. Born: %INDI.BIRT.DATE:COMPACT% in %INDI.BIRT.PLAC:TIDY% %INDI.BIRT.PLAC:TIDY%
Now replace PLAC:TIDY with ADDR and insert the word at if you like.
e.g. Born: %INDI.BIRT.DATE:COMPACT% in %INDI.BIRT.PLAC:TIDY% at %INDI.BIRT.ADDR%
Now OK your way out of the dialogues.

Alternatively, to the  right of the Template field is the << Insert button.
This allows the Data References to be constructed.
Just select Individual + Events + Birth + Addressand click Insert.

Many thanks for your super-fast response.
Your reply was much more than the 'nudge in the right direction' I was expecting, and I had no trouble in following your detailed step-by-step guidance.
It's good to have learnt a little bit more about this excellent package.
Again many thanks for your help.
Kind regards, Stuart
