I have large number of pdf files. From another file I see that FH does not support this format. I have 2 options I see
(1) to convert all my pdfs into an acceptable format. This doubles my data !!Or to add to Wish List that PDF becomes an acceptable format. I find it strange that a widely accepted format such as pdf is not accepted by Calico.
I have looked at Wish List and cannot see this there.
Michael and Janet so I do not duplicate or cover previous threads Can I add to Wish List ??
Thanks

There is nothing to stop you attaching PDF files to your tree, you simply can not use them in reports.

I seem to say this a lot, but PDF is NOT a graphics format it's a page ready print format, so you can not easily include it and manipulate it as an image for use in other pages.

If you simply want to attach them you can and view them using the 'play' button to launch Adobe Reader.

You may find this thread helps explain how FH handles different file types:
Import PDF or RTF Documents (10096)

When adding some file types (and I think PDF is one) you may need to select All files (*.*) in the Insert... window.
e.g.
Use Add > Document and in the Insert Documents window click the Document Files (.doc, ...) list, bottom right, and choose All files (*.*), then you can select PDF document files.
