Last evening I was inputting a lot of data by copying and pasting from a website and a couple of databases, all open at the same time. After some time I clicked once more on FH in the task bar and the window did not come up. After going to each open page I closed all other windows but the FH would still not appear. What to do? The task manager said it was still running but I was afraid I might lose some data if I used 'end task'. I opened another FH window, backed up and then used 'end task', but what had happened please? I don't want to repeat my difficulty.

Losing FH window
It's difficult to tell, with out actually seeing the problem.
If it happens again, if you minimise all the other windows so you can see the FH one you may be able to tell what the problem is.

The whole point is I cannot 'see' the window, even with all other windows closed, and it won't open however I try.

Losing FH window
If it happens again, you could try running Task Manager, select Family Historian from the list of running program and click on 'Switch to'. Sometimes works in these circumstances.

Losing FH window
Even if the FH window does not become visible after using Task Manager to Switch to FH, you should still be able to use Ctrl-S to save and then Alt-F4 to close FH.
