I have been working on a toolbar for IE and firefox, based on a internet service.
If you would like to try it, just follow the link below to download it.
I have included a few options which I hope you will all find useful.
- email notifier (check for new mail}
- A menu with many Family History Links
- The ability to use the custom menu you have defined here at FHUG
- A News section which shows new articles and forum posts here and Dick Eastmans Newsletter.
I didn't write this myself, but as far as I can tell there are no problems with using it and it can be easily uninstalled if you do not like it.

Great Jane, find it works fine, email alert is good when you are busy working with your email programme shut the small sound for incoming mail really helpful.
I use Firefox browser, only thing that does not work on Firefox is the Privacy-Free Anti Virus Scan, don't think I would use it anyway but I tried it to test it out, asks for IE4 and above not Fife fox.Well done Jane.

Useful addition. During Installation reference is made to Additional Components which can be chaged using 'Toolbar Options' but it does not say how to get at this.

Pity the spell check didn't pick up 'Shoping' in the Great Sites drop down!
Apart from that it looks great.

I seem to have lost the 'My Menu' from the tool bar, it is still there on the FHUG Home page, so what have I done?
