Unable to add a source to custom family attribute

Its a bug.  Sorry.  It will be fixed in the next release.  Meanwhile you can work around it.  There are 2 options:

(1) Go to the 'All' pane of the Property dialog, expand the linked family (ie. click on the View Linked Record button - see p. 25 of the User Manual if you don't know what I mean), locate the custom attribute, right click on it and click on 'Add Source' on the context menu that appears.

(2) Open the relevant Family record in the property dialog, go to the Event tab, click on the relevant attribute in the list.  You should find that you can now add a source to it.

If you don't know how to open a Family Record in the Property Dialog, you could either locate in the Records Window (e.g. click on View > Record Lists > Families) or you could expand the Individual record in question, locate the Family record icon in the right hand column that represents the family in question, click on the text next to it, and then click on the Property Dialog toolbar button, to open the Property Dialog for it.

Using either of the 2 techniques, you still won't be able to see the Source information for the custom family attribute in the Events tab, when viewing events and attributes for individual records, but it will in fact be there, and will appear correctly when the next release arrives (and should work OK for all other purposes - queries etc - too).

If this is too condensed to make sense, let me know and I'll have another go and try and make it clearer.
