I hope everyone will enjoy the new look FHUG, in addition to the new look, there are some enhancements to the base software these include your own custom menu, just click on Edit My Menu to add your own personal links. The ability to save instant messages and to 'file' message away from your inbox. Various extra options in the Forums, including some new icons and notify options. Better support for the Firefox browser, query files should now always trigger a download rather than displaying on the screen.
Feedback and comments are appreciated.
Jane.

It looks good, but I wish a bit more space had been given to recent posts, an extra couple of lines for example.

Ok, I have bumped up the display to 10 for now. Hope that suits.

I've noticed the 'make a donation' button on the main page. Considering all the wonderful work Jane does for the Family Historian community, completely voluntarily (she is not employed by Calico Pie) and the number of people she helps every week, hopefully lots of people will help to support the site with £2 donations.

I agree with Nick, not only does Jane provide the website and huge amounts of support she also provides us with the Wish List. Calico Pie take note of the Wish List, you only have to look at the last couple of releases to see that. This gives us a lot of input into the features we would like to see in future releases. If one user comes up with a suggestion for a new feature then the rest of us can show our support (or lack of it). Without the website we would just become individuals sending emails to Calico Pie and we would have no way of knowing the suggestions of other users. So send your donations to help keep it running and remember to use your votes.

I have been exploring the new look web page, and can only commend you, Jane, for all the hard work. I have tried most of the features and so far have not hit any problems. The fhug page has always added immeasurably to the value of the program.
Thanks for all you do for us.
