Post by admin » 01 Mar 2009 22:14

The FHUG site was first registered on the 1st of March 2004. Initially to store Queries written for Family Historian.

It has now grown to include a Knowledge Base and a home for the excellent Gedcom Census. With over 3,000 members it aims to provide a home for all things Family Historian related.

So

Happy Birthday FHUG

Congratulations Jane. I'm sure Family Historian would have been far less successful if it wasn't for the work you've done creating this site and supporting the users. Here's to the next 5 years!

Best wishes

Nick

3000 members, thats impressive. Anyone know roughly how many copies of FH have been sold. I'm guessing that it must be one of the most popular British programs now ?

I would like to add my belated congratulations and thanks to Jane for her dedicated hard work in steering the the good ship FHUG through it's first five years. May it continue and hopefully give you all the 'job' satisfaction you deserve.
I have been confounded once again by PC troubles, enough to make me buy a new one, am just getting around to reloading my Family Historian programmes. Fortunately I had preserved all my F.H Data files on recoverable backups and am looking forward to the imminent release of V.4.
