Jane,
I am sure that what you say is right. However, as My History, S&N and TWR are all selling for less than £36, there is not much incentive to buy the download version.

I STILL haven't got my V4 upgrade CD.

Getting very jealous of those merrily getting to grips with V4.

I have just purchased this upgrade on CD. I was using version 3.1.2 and the CD says it is to upgrade from version 3. However when I try to load it I get the following message after I insert my registration key - C:WINDOWSSystem32'C' Error 123 The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
Can anyone help me resolve this problem. I thought I was Computer Literate but I am stumped. I have had no problem with Version 3 - just thought I would like to upgrade.

Thank you
Sylvia

Please see http://www.family-historian.co.uk/support/upgrade.htm for a patch to correct this problem.
