I can use Add if with 'contains' on both custom attributes and custom events.
If you want to check for any value use
'Add unless' INDI._ATTR-TWIN[1] is Null
for example.

Sex error
Unlink one of the Parents from the family, on the record window, right click on the family as spouse and select unlink.
Change the Sex of both partners and relink them.
I think you can get away with only unlinking one partner, but you may need to unlink both.

In fact I have since found, there are standard attributes for number of marriages and number of children, so you can use these to record 0 marriages and 0 children.

Why not just set up a custom attribute, rather than using valid fields.
You already have a Number of Children field, so all you need is a Never Married Attribute.

The ';Save Diagram As...'; option
I think the idea is to save as much of the diagram as you specify for a single save. Not sure why there are two options [confused]
So Whole Diagram is the same as All Pages. In Calico's defence this one got added VERY late in the beta test.

Diagrams using many pages on 2.3
If you find your diagram takes many pages. Go into digram options and on to the dimensions page and press the Installation Settings button.
In most cases the number of pages should return to a normal number.

Thoughts on 2.3
What do you feel about 2.3 does it have features which you find useful?
Personally, I find the copy/paste very useful, along with the save as option for diagrams. Once saved as EMF files they can be loaded into Viso for more work.

Thats one advantage with my Taubman line, if they are in Liverpool they are mine :) They did marry Kelly's though and they are not so easy. I have done a lot of my research from Parish Records for my own (village) based family's, but my husbands Liverpool based ones are all over the place and certif...

To the best of my knowledge all you can see are the indexes, you still need to order certificates to see the details.

Data entry - check if person already exists
I think this would be covered by the check for duplicates option which is already on the wish list.
I suspect the problem with doing anything automatically would be when to do the check. So an option might be better to do a check.

I added 'Allow production of multiple charts on one document' to the wish list a few days ago, this might be worth a vote as it is probably nearer to the 'glue' action than the all-in-one
There is also one called

Entering an Informant from a Death Certificate
There are a couple of options which come to mind.
1. Use the Associated person to link to the death
2. As you suggest use a custom event, linked to the source for the certificate.
If you use the 1 source per certificate method I would tend towards option 2.

There are two options.
1. See if you can find the root cause of the problem and use the merge branch option to merge the information back together.
2. Try and build a list of all the duplicates and use the list delele option to delete them all.
