Re: Importing Place data from one proect to another
Isn't it possible to export the Place Records (and only them) into a GEDCOM file? I know that the Export GEDCOM File plug-in has a parameter for Place Record , with one option being " Keep Custom Record ". Presumably, you have to delete all the other record types so ensure you do it on a c...

Re: Inconsistent use of cog-wheel
... I think we should try to avoid competing/conflicting requests. Why don't we add to my (hopefully quick) proposal, something along the lines of If Better ways to find where records are used (22561) progresses, then this proposal is de facto redundant. If that proposal does not progress, then thi...

Re: Inconsistent use of cog-wheel
I think the two parts of Adrian’s proposal should be treated separately. The second part could be a wish list request in it own right. The first part of his proposal (about “Show Source Record’s Citations in results Window”) would be better considered in the broader context of the discussion in 225...

Re: On Hold until 13 Dec 2024: Abbreviated Place Names
In general, I rather like the idea of being able to pick up an abbreviated placename. What I am very dubious about is attempting to fit ISO3166 into the picture - and I say this as someone who gets tired very rapidly of attempting to deal with the FamilySearch Standard Placenames database. Some spec...

I have a feeling that this has been mentioned but, not being a Template Source user, I don't remember if that's true or not.
