Recording Census Data in FH
For your Query, I think you will be best to have one source per folio piece you can then select all people with that source link.

Recording Census Data in FH
I currently record Census information as follows. There are several requests on the Wish List for an easier way to enter Census information, but for now I use the following. I currently only have one source for each census and the following is based on that. I may in the future change to one sourc...

Best way to build an interesting web site ??
Hi, The WebApp that I use for this site would be a good start for the private pages. Although I have public access turned on here you can turn it off so that each new member must be approved by the administrator. All the tools I use for my site have links on the Bibliography page http://www.taubman...

Getting Started
Hi Dream,
This site is not aimed at Family History research, rather at the use of the Software program Family Historian, if you are just starting click on the link to Cyndi's list on the left and take a look at the Newbies section, I am sure that will get you started.

Entering data from a Birth Certificate
This is my way to enter the data, I don't know if it is the right way as the flexibility of FH makes it tricky. To save my typing BC=Birth Certificate, not Before Christ. I have just input my father in laws birth certificate. This is how I did it. I always work in the record window, using the righ...

Queries Query
[oops]Light Dawns,
I do not look at the raw Query files very often, if you work on them in FH you do not see the TAG= bit.
You will find you can edit any queries in the custom directory, they are much easier to understand in the FH interface.

Hi All,
I am thinking of posting a poll, here for Wish List items.
