Unfortunately, Mike, as usual, my FH7 doesn't remember where it last put or found documents!

Re: Scottish Marriages
Hi Nick,
I know I can just type it in but it would be nicer if 'By Publication' and 'By Declaration' was in the drop-down list.
In FH7 there is a means of having a list of 'favourite' repositories that you can go to without going through the whole list from A to Z-can we have something similar on AS?

When I publish a narrative report, the default for saving it goes to Documents whereas I want it to go to Downloads, Is it possible to change this?

When I enter a bmd for an individual and try to save it, I have difficulty accessing the bottom of the tab to confirm, etc the information. See screenshot.

Another odd thing about the above. I keep getting a notification that 'memory integrity is 'off' but I can't turn it on-I've tried Autoruns and deleted 2 drivers but am still getting the same message after numerous restarts! Anyone got the same problem and know how to fix it? Wish I'd stayed with 10...

I've just foolishly downloaded Win 11 and the right-click options now cover 2 pages but I prefer the 1-page version that was on Win 10. How can I get it to revert to that one simply, please?
Why is it that MS makes some things worse when they 'update' Windows?

I don't understand how FH calculates who is a half cousin? My 4 x gt grandfather married twice and from his 1st marriage, he had 3 children, 1 of whom survived and became according to FH my 3 x HALF gt aunt? It follows that having calculated that then all her descendants are shown as HALF cousins. F...

When I try to upload media from my pc, FH sends me to any place rather than my downloads folder. Can this be changed to make it go directly to the downloads folder please?

Re: Scotland 1921 Census
I've just recorded 2 of the1921 Scottish censuses, one has 'yes/no' and the other 'yes plus M above it' !
So it would be a good idea Nick, to have all on the template, in my opinion. Like the E & W 1921 Census, it seems a lot of the people filling the forms seem to have ignored the instructions.

Reverting to researched surname
I'm currently researching the 1921 Census for a particular family who have only 1 surname but lots of Christian names using AS. Every time I finish one family and save it, As/FH7 doesn't allow me to go back to the current one or next one in the family surname instead it sends me to the very beginnin...

Re: Reverting to researched surname
Yes I'm using AS to enter the details from the census and it returns me to the family I was updating and updates it. Then when I try to do the next Christian name I'm sent back to A.

What 3 sheets? I only see 2, the initial page showing the family then the actual document the 1st page was transcribed from. It appears that I was using the wrong version of FH 7, having not realised there was upgrade to 7.0.18. I can't reproduce the text problems on the new upgrade.
