Re: Query name
Thank you both for the help. I did see the cog-wheel before posting but was not sure if I could just change the name somewhere without having to delete the query. It is changed now. Thanks again.

Query name
I downloaded a query and made some changes to it to suit my needs and now want to rename it. Is there a way to do that in the FH? On the General tab of the query, the title just says New Custom Query.

Custom Facts
I have two custom facts that I would like to reorder that do not have a date. They are both at the bottom of my list of facts, but one should be before the other. The one on the top has an arrow to move it up, but not down. Is there a way to move it? Both are for an after-death fact. I have seen som...

comma between two dates
I started to use Grammarly to check my spelling and punctuation when creating a book. Some of my errors were showing the need to put a comma between two dates. Example: James's Address was 7 Timber Hill Road btw Jan 28, 1966 and 1985 in Plainville, Hartford, Connecticut. FH 7 will not let me put the...

query grids
When I get the results from my custom queries, they are displayed in a grid format. I was wondering if there is a way to darken the grid color. Right now, it is a very light gray color, and if you have a few lines with very little information, it makes it hard to read.

Adopted Child
My stepson just adopted his wife's daughter. I was wondering how to record her name. Leah is a 10-year-old girl, that is now legally a Bishop. Before she was adopted her name was Sayers. I was wondering if I should keep her primary name as Leah Sayers or Leah Bishop and use the other name as the Alt...

Witness Roles
I was creating a new witness role for burials and misspelled it. I created a new one with the correct spelling but was wondering how to delete the misspelled one. This is where you would add the person and the role. Everything works fine, just want to get rid of the wrong spelling role.

Re: Individual Narrative Report
I replaced the global fact for sports to read: {individual's} {label} were {value} {date} {place} {age}
Everything is working fine.
Is there a way to see the full template that is used for an individual?

Removing the " from the marriage fact, fixed them all.

This is the sentence for the marriage. I did not change anything in the marriage fact. <br>{individual} married< {spouse/her/him}> {date} <at {address}> {place} {their ages}. <The best man was {role(single)=Best man}. ><{role(single)=bridesmaid} was a bridesmaid. ><Bridesmaids included {role(plural)...

I went into my facts and made a new Fact for sports and made sure it was not an event. Then I deleted the fact that I was using. No the marks are not in the sentence. They are just in the report. I am not sure what the super script is? I made sure that the sentence was the same in Tools < Fact types also. Re: Standard Fact Set
After reading the article Working with Places and Addresses, I am more confused. I have only changed 2 or 3 people's fields to contain the church name for their marriage and they looked fine in the narrative reports. I think it would be better if there was a field to put the name of the church in, t...
