In Roots Magic, when I need to add a new Source, like a birth registration from Scotland, I find a Source for one I have already entered, right-click on it, select Copy, edit the new one and make a few minor changes and I’m good to go. I just tried some others created from template and none of them allow me to enter the field. Since I imported from Roots Magic all of my sources have a template listed.
