It doesn't bother me because, e.g., I have to pick the appropriate file path/folder when downloading images from the Internet to my computer, so it is part of 'what you do'.

Mostly, I load media via the Source Record (Media : Add Media : Insert From File).

I was using v6 up until June of this year, I upgraded then to v7 (7.0.11). I installed no further upgrades until last week (as a result of the 'Rich Text post').

I agree about the benefit of showing the Families tab in the Record Window. In my early days of using FH I got in a bit of a muddle with some of the family records. Being able to see them in the Records Window clarified matters. Now I make extensive use of family records with a number of custom facts.

I use FMP directly (i.e. without FH) and since last week I have repeatedly had the message, always when trying to access an image. For a while during a session of research all is as normal but after the first occurrence transcriptions remain accessible but not images.
