Method 2 issue - FH7 and AS v7.0
Hi I am using Method 2 on all the entries. Census works fine but Baptism and Marriage (so far) don't add the image to the individual and I have to add it retrospectively in FH. In the settings "Census settings - method 2 " there is a tickbox for "link image to individuals" but I cant see an equivale...

3. Ignore last comment, by selecting see both it now shows some data.

Re: FHv7 - Expressions
Mike
Many Thanks
1. Yes, I did misread it, (perhaps it could of been a bit clearer) and makes sense.
2. I will report
3. I have never seen anything in that box in bottom left of screen, is there a setting to enable it?
Paul

FHv7 - Expressions
Hi hoping someone can help or clarify a few things for me. 1. Using ContainsText in an expression - I have not been getting exactly what I expected and on reading the help was surprised to see the following - Parameter 2: The search text to check. This can contain more than one word. A field is deem...

Re: Source Records - Citations
Thanks for all the help, the expression below works well for me and checking 9 citations should be plenty in most cases but if not I will move to top as suggested. Expression posted below in case it helps others. Paul =IsTrue(ContainsText(%INDI.BIRT.SOUR[1]>TITL%,"Birth",STD )or ContainsText(%INDI.B...

Source Records - Citations
Hi I am playing with Expressions and really enjoying seeing what they can do, but have hit a small issue. Say I am setting an Box icon for Birth =ContainsText(%INDI.BIRT.SOUR>TITL%,"Birth",STD) and %INDI.BIRT.SOUR>_TYPE% both work fine, but only if the citation is at the top of the list, so if multi...

Re: DNABloodRelation expression
Thanks I have tried =DnaBloodRelation(=Record (1 "I"),%INDI%) but that gives error message each time, but the FileRoot method works fine. That is a great help but I was hoping to do it for 2 individuals, so I assumed that using the record ID I could add 2 expresssions one for each person. So if you ...

DNABloodRelation expression
Hi I hope this is ok, as new here. I am trying to use the new DNABloodRelation expression ( =DnaBloodRelation(%CUR_TREE_ROOT%,%INDI%) ) to show the blood icon for all blood relatives of an individual. The built in expression works well but displays for the individual on whom the diagram is built, bu...
