Re: Putting your research online on your own website.
Thanks Colin. According to Darrin of TNG, one problem is that the PHP server on my website has an incorrect time zone setting. I've asked my hosting service to correct it. However a couple of other FHUG TNG users have given me some alternative hosting providers to consider should I continue to have ...

Re: Putting your research online on your own website.
I meant to add that I have been in contact with Darrin who has confirmed that TNG runs on MariaDB. I've now asked him about the specific difficulties I am having in implementing the database.

Re: Putting your research online on your own website.
Hello Colin and Helen Many thanks for your replies and recommendations. Colin, can I ask re MariaDB - did you have to import TNG or were you able just to FTP the TNG files direct to your site? Re: Exporting lead picture only
Hello Mike
Thanks for that - I'll remember that for next time.
If you are interested, the purpose of the exercise was to import my data and media into GedView on my iPhone.
Best wishes

Re: Exporting lead picture only
Hello tatewise Many thanks for your reply. I was wanting to reduce the size of my exported file by excluding most of the media files, except for the primary picture of each individual. However I found I could get reduce the size by creating a zip file of the exported gedcom file and its media. Many ...

Exporting lead picture only
My FH file contains a large number of pictures. I would like to be able to export just one picture per individual. Is there any way of selecting just the picture labelled as 1 (the one that appears on trees etc) for export?
Thanks
Nick
