My bad I found the notes.

Not sure if I did something wrong, however after importing a tree from Family Tree maker 2019 all the notes attached to the people were not there in Family Historian. I am using latest version of Family Historian and windows 11

Was wondering if there is a way to show the ancestor line from the root person? I see some programs have color coding that allow you to show the root person up in direct line. Hope this makes sense. I am using FH7 windows 10. Just would like to easily follow the line of family.

How does one merge two same people into one? I have four people who are the same and need to merge them to get rid of the duplicate. When I merge them I then get two sets of them in the people page. This is where I get confused. If I merged them why then do they show up in the split creen? Thanks

What is the easiest way to rename a media file? So it changes not only on my page but in the media folder. Like iof I have a file named 27364536475 Walker.jpg and just want it to say walker.jpg. Thanks

I have found that I imported some incorrect people in my database. What is the easiest way to delete all of their information. Need to delete the person and all their place and media if any. Thank you

Okay. I have reset my computer and reinstalled FH7. I am unable to save any edit to a note I am working on. They are on seperate computers, FH6 is on my laptop. I am going to completely uninstall and reinstall the program I am at a loss of words as to why this happens. Hope it fixes the problem will let you know later

This is what I just discovered. If I try and edit the note without pressing the three ... I am able to edit the note and just click the close button. I can lower, raise delete replace all works this way. The problem is when I open to the new window with the tool bars.

Well I spoke to soon as it not saving correct again. I deleted a note placed new one pushed the button and no want to save appeared so did not save it.
