Strange. I've just looked and the it says I voted at 2:30 am tomorrow!
I think it more likely that it's a time zone issue rather than the clock on the server being wrong.

For one of the individuals where the '' shows (preferably one with not many facts) go to the All tab of their property box. Expand all the levels by clicking the + signs and screen shot that please.

Another possibility is that your ISP is allocating you different IP addresses. While you are logged in to the forums, open another browser tab and go to https://www.whatismyip.com/. Take a note of what that reports for My Public IPv4 is . When you find you've been logged out again go back to the sam...

Re: Unblocking the Wish List process
Perhaps we should (wherever possible) highlight in the wish list where a competitor product has an equivalent feature.

Name capitalisation and parts check
It's been a long time coming, but I have a new plugin which allows the user to customise the rules used to define how non-standard capitalisation is applied. The other main additional feature of the new plugin is that it compares the name parts with the full name; this is principally for users who h...

However having multiple instances open on two or more projects is OK - the important thing is that you must NEVER have the same project open twice on the same device or multiple devices.

I'd definitely vote for preservation of the Debugger Options. Something I've been working on recently needed me to keep turning on Global, Table.

Re: Unblocking the Wish List process
Is anyone doing a review of the wish list itself? As some of the items on there are very old it may be that the direction on which FH has developed means the wish list item needs reviewing or updating. Also there may be items which have been fully or partially implemented by CP in subsequent FH vers...

Re: New data reference index option "[preflast]"
I see Mark has suggested that this is closed as no support; but I'm wondering if the lack of comments was due to lack of interest or because the proposal was succinct and well defined.
I raised it because of this discussion: https://groups.io/g/family-historian/to ... 45937#6589

Re: Add GRO Source plugin
Mike, as this plugin is a replacement for Jane's wouldn't have been an idea to check for the old settings file and if found offer the sources the old plugin used as the sources to use in this new version?
Re: Media
I'm wondering if the confusion is because the navigation pane of Windows Explorer is turned off?
If so it's the Organise dropdown, Layout, Navigation pane to turn it on again.

Re: Display of individuals in result set

If you turn Preferences, Records Window, Display individuals surnames first in main list off, when you go to the records window, clicking the Individual Records column heading to sort by that column still sorts by surname, not the name as...

Re: Display of individuals in result set
Mike, you got the option the wrong way round, it should be fhOverridePreference('SURNAMES_UPPERCASE',true,true) and it does result in the surnames being in upper case in the result set so maybe my suggestion could work. Just capitalising the surname doesn't help if you want to use it as a sort colum...

This hasn't been marked completed in the wish list itself although the associated topic has been moved to the closed board.
