Re: Multifact
That's me back from an afternoon Christmas Shopping with my wife & daughter. Glad to be back home! you are running the latest version downloaded from the Plugin store, aren't you? I am running V1.9 and it has been downloaded from the store. I believe I downloaded it some time ago, but never had the ...

Re: Multifact
Mike I could see from the variables panel that it was stepping through every single text character. So I remember that it would go through R then e, then a, then s, etc for Research Planner thro every single word, so I saw Medal going through on the Military one etc. I genuinely did in the region of...

Re: Multifact
No probs, I'll still wait till the New Year to redo the debug test as there really is no need to resolve this now.
I'll also bear in mind the back up scenario.
Thanks again for the work both of you (and others) it is much appreciated.

I take it by uninstalling I don't lose any data, or fail to link it back up when re-installed?

Re: Multifact
Helen Thanks. Just one additional bit of info. I realised late last night that I hadn't tried the Plug-in on my laptop. As all is set up via symbolic links, this is using the same data files. The plug-in fell over here as well suggesting that the problem is probably not anything to do with the syste...

Thanks.
But why don't you leave it until the New Year.
I can certainly wait till then, its the wrong time to be fussing about this when there's other things to worry about.

Re: Multifact
Mike Really sorry, but I just can't keep this up. I've been at it 15 mins this morning, and I'm not even finished the first file. Last night I timed a session, and on that basis, I've done approx 3000 clicks this morning already. That's on top of the two long sessions I did last night. My finger ach...

Re: Multifact
Not sure if this helps.
I disabled all the Custom facts sets (simply by adding .safe) to each file name.
When I run Multifact now, I get an error message

Re: Multifact
Just thought Id try the debug again. I think it got further than last time but I cant be sure. It hasn't crashed yet, I've been clicking the step into for about 40 mins on and off and I'm getting really sore, so I have to stop now.

Absolutely no problem, I really appreciate the work you people do on this. Having seen the code on this, I'm even more impressed than I was before. By the way I hope you don't mind me saying I think you must be crazy to do this!. But thanks all the same, it really is appreciated. Anyway, files attac...

Re: Multifact
Not sure I'm understanding what you mean. I Just have one set called Custom Facts, and there are 3 in it. Is that what you need? Multifact 3.jpg Very very few (if any) "non-English" Characters. I thought I had one lady with an accented e, but on checking she hasn't. So it may be zero, but certainly ...

Re: Multifact
Just the three . Funeral, Hobby & Newspaper article. I'm guessing somewhere between 50 & 75 in 1 and 3, and maybe just one or two in Hobbies. Not sure how I check that at the moment, I'll see if I can find out. Not sure how to.

Re: Multifact
Thanks for the responses. I must admit I thought that it would be a bit more common to use the symbolic links. The ability to use the latop and the PC is a huge plus. Running WIn 10 Home 64 V 1909 natively on a PC. Research Planner appears to run OK. I've never used it, so I'm not sure how to actual...

Multifact
Never used the plugin, but wanted to try it today. When I clicked on Run, I got the normal Windows sand-timer and nothing else. Eventually I had to force a close of the FH program. I checked that other Plugins were working OK, then I deleted the Multifact plugin and downloaded and opened it again. T...

Re: Backup & Restore error
Yes you are right, I have those two folders on OneDrive (I actually have more as I have AS & Images on there as well.). All are properly backed up as well. The net result is that I have in my FH folder alone, almost 7,000 files to synchronise (plus the other OneDrive non FH items). So although I don...

I've just tried running two other plugins which ran fine. Also just re-run Backup & Restore and it appears to be running fine.

Backup & Restore error
I had to install a new System Disk on my PC as the old SSD was too small. I deliberately chose to re-install Windows 10 rather than cloning the old disk to give me a nice clean new Windows 64 Install. After I reinstalled FH, I then created a link between the Prog Data Folder and my OneDrive folder [...
