If you open AS, and go to the Help item at the top, and type in Census Templates, you will get a list of items below, one of which is titled "Census Templates: Importing."

Click on that and you will see instructions

Ah OK, well spotted. This seems a bit of an odd way to apply scaling doesn't it? If I change scaling on my PC it doesn't suddenly change the size of my fonts in Word documents - they are still size 11 (or whatever), they just look bigger on the screen. you need to CTL_ALT-double click before you open the rich text box. Thanks, I wasn't aware that was what was meant. I didn't even see this post last night, but I saw Nick's reply about the 10.5 font, so I changed the font in my example. I'll create a different conversion now to see the correct info...

The defaults seem to be the same. I'm not sure if any of the other settings are affecting it.

Remember LUA is running in a limited environment under FH it does not have access to all the memory on your PC. Many thanks for investigating. Still seems odd that a relatively small file at 23Mb would cause a memory error when I'm only running at approx 20% of 32Gb.

Ran the plugin again as suggested, and as you suspected, it failed on the next MP4, then finally on a third run, on the last one. Adding the files back in caused a fail again. Having watched the tutorials a couple of times, I've now had a chance to look at a couple of Census Conversions. Looks great so far. Can I just confirm that I cannot convert a Census which is already Rich Text, but has not Hyperlinks solely to add the hyperlinks? I cannot see anything in settings or...

I have a New York State census for 1915 to input, and I used a copy of the 1910 US census as a starting point to save keystrokes. As I understand it, State censuses may well differ from State to state, so I would want to identify my new Census Template in some way to identify it as a NY one. I tried...

Having an interesting issue with this plug in. If I view Tools> External File Links> Show Broken Links, I get "No broken links found". BL2.jpg If I run the plugin it reports 1 Broken link, BL1.jpg but when I look at that item, it seems to be happily showing the correct image. Could the accent be an ...
