Did not quite know where to ask this so please do move it if needed.
Question - when or will FH adopt/change to GEDCOM 5.5.1. Are there any plans to do so?

Re: How to use a To Do list
Just to be different (and because I find them easier to use) I use Clooz to record all documents - Census, birth, death, marriage
certificates etc. To Do Lists and Research Logs live in Excel and any other scribbles, notes etc go into OneNote.

Re: 30% Discount?
Hmm, just read the small print: "To view the list of matching records, you don’t need to open an account with MyHeritage. But to view the records themselves, you normally will need a data subscription. If one is needed, when you click on the ‘View Record’ button to view a listed record, MyHeritage w...

I currently have a 14 day free trial of MyHeritage with 7 days left. How do I now get my 30% discount when trial comes to an end? I can find nothing about th...

Thank you both for the replies. I have Simon Orde's book and am slowly working my way through it. I've had the software for a week - a long way still to go

How to show the correct relationship?
Good morning - I am brand new to this genealogy thing and have run into my first conundrum. How do I show the relationship of the unmarried parents of 1 child & the fact that the father later married another woman and had 5 children? James and Jean (not married) had a son John. James later married M...

Re: Licencing Question
Have now bitten the bullet and purchased a licence. After quite a bit of research (and playing around) I think I've made the right decision with FH. Now need some time to sit down and learn all of the ins and outs of the software.

Licencing Question
Being brand new to this Genealogy thing I have been trying 4 different software packages for the last couple of weeks and have decided on FH. So far I've gone back 5 generations, most are still a bit sketchy but I've caught the bug!! Before I make a purchase I have a question - can I install FH on 2...
