'How Related' Report without pictures
Hi: I am trying to create a 'How Related' report. I have selected two individuals and I can produce the report. However, I want to produce the report with no pictures - just in text form. In the report options, I choose the 'pictures' tab and de-select the "Include Pictures of the Main Individuals.....

Re: Internet Search
Hi: Sorry about posting in the wrong forum. Thanks for the directions for adjusting the search functions. I have already decided that the external browser works best for me, but it had not occurred to me to hide the other search options. I also had not paid attention to the gear symbol on the intern...

Internet Search
Hi: When using the "Search the Internet" option, I would like my Family Historian to always default to one of the web site options in the drop-down list. In my case, Family Search. I cannot seem to find a way to make this happen. So, each time I do a search, I have to scroll down and select that opt...

Re: Primary Image on Focus Page
Mike: Thanks for your response. I actually stumbled upon this preference column solution about the time of receiving your comments. I was using the up arrow key, but because I have installed the database on an external hard drive, and because the files I was testing sometimes as many as 50 media ite...

Primary Image on Focus Page
Hi: I am testing Family Historian as a possible purchaser. I am struggling to have a particular image in my media file appear as the primary image (I have set the preferences to one image only) on the Focus page. Re: Gedcom Export Without Notes and Sources
Hi:
Again, thanks for these cautions. I will review the links you suggest. As a new person, it is a bit overwhelming to determine exactly where to look, so the direct help and pointers are much appreciated.

Internal Browser - Family Search Web Site
Hi: In testing the 6.2 version and using the Family Search Web site using the Family History software internal browser, I get a note from the Family History site, indicating that the browser in use is Internet Explorer 11, and that their site will no longer be functioning with this version of Intern...

Re: Gedcom Export Without Notes and Sources
Hi:
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have already tried the export function several different ways. Thanks for the pointer to split tree helper. I will give that a try.

Gedcom Export Without Notes and Sources
Hi: I am testing 6.2 with the notion of purchasing. I am wanting to prepare a gedcom for export which does NOT include any notes or sources. I am struggling to find a way to do this. When I click all the options to exclude in the dialogue box for export, the software still includes my conventional n...
