Re: Show Project Stats
I have been running version 2.4 and cleaning up issues revealed by this useful plugin. Two issues I have noticed: 1. The plugin appears to be ignoring the living flag in the exception reports 'Living Flag despite Death etc.' and 'No Death, Burial .... nor Living Flag' 2. 'Date does not provide a Day...

Re: How to remove prepared citation
Ah! Thank you would never have thought of that. I have had a quick look at that section of the Knowledge Base - I can see how that would help with complex sources. At the moment I'm using the Website Templates source in Page URL bit in Citation-specific Details to store a link to the individual in t...

Thank you for your reply. I had tried that but it doesn't delete, have tried delete, right click delete --
It doesn't serve any purpose so far as I can see.

Re: Invitation to a census
I also worked on the 2011 Census, the take up rate is very high. Providing false information or failing to complete the Census rusults in, if prosecuted, a criminal record and a fine. The 'invitation' is whether to complete online (preferred) or to apply for the paper forms.

Certainly should not do that. But Is there a function to test for the existence of a labelled text?
So logic wise
if exists(labelled text) then set(labelled text)

Re: update check and version release notes
Went to the Family Historian website earlier and downloaded the Installation file. Ran with no problems and installed 7.0.1.3 with a properly announced restart.
Now to do same on my main pc having made full backups of files and settings.

Re: Record Title Format in Source Definition Template
I have just realised I can create new field definitions so to get a source title starting with yyyymmdd I need to create three new fields {year} as a date {month} as an enum (cannot treat as date as will give errors and will get 0001 if entering 01) {day} as an enum (ditto) then use the expression <...

Re: Record Title Format in Source Definition Template
Thank you Kevin for your reply. What I am looking for is the ability to construct the Source title in the format I want - in AS one can use the following {YEAR}{DATE.MONTH.NUM2}{DATE.DAY2} Census @ {PLACE} {PLACE.SHORT}: {REF} - {KEYPERSON.GN} {KEYPERSON.SN.CAPS} this gets near to what I want. The S...

Record Title Format in Source Definition Template
I would like my source titles to follow my standard format:
I can only find {date} and {place} in the template dialog which won't reproduce my preferred layout, which I can achieve using AS.
Is there a method I have missed in FH7 - other than manual amendment?

I do agree with GeneSniper. On the other hand with hindsight I would have chosen different lottery numbers. At the end of the day it's not a big sum, just momentarily annoying. I'll be updating soon just tidying up the file first.

Re: On the fence FH7
Hi Adrian, What you said almost reinforces my point...........When a new feature is included in an update it has probably come from a pre-existing user wish list. The new Source / Citation option is probably very good in what it intends to achieve (and I would really like to use it!). But if users ...

Re: Plugin Store
To Dave, I can't imagine why you think they'd be lying to you ... To everyone, please don't run the 'Check Installed Plugins Against the Store'; the more times you retry the quicker the server decides there's a problem. Check your important plugins and update them MANUALLY for now, until the 'Check...
