Mike,
Yes, I can confirm that FH Report > Options > Index tab does NOT have Enable Index ticked.

I changed the settings that you suggested in Word and that did the job - many thanks indeed!

P.S. I still get the same even if I do not have an index in the report.

Hi, I am trying to generate some reports for editing in Word. I'm generating the .rtf files ok, but when I open in Word the coding is still visible i.e I get things like {xe "Nottingham"} for the place names etc. Is this a FH issue (I've just upgraded to the latest v6.2.4) or is a Word problem?
