This was my worry; I didn't want to back myself into a corner that if the worst happened (FH did a RM esq upgrade or worse still did a disappearing act) that I was going to spend another year trying to unravel what was a great tree but only in FH.

I’ve never really been that successful when I export a tree to a relative who is using different genealogy software. My question is what is the best format to build the tree in, so that everything including all media is exported? Is it best to use Generic, DEA or Ancestral Sources.

I think the problem here is that there is no exact way to enter data into FH and no one wants to say “This is how to do it” for fear that others tell them they are wrong, even though they won’t say how it should be done after saying it’s wrong. I never looked at that part as the up arrow was greyed out and the photo I wanted to use was at the top of the list, so no need to move up. I never thought that the up arrow was there to move the photo's left to right at the top of the Focus Window.

Surely, Master copy, backup in Document folder, Onedrive copy of Master copy and Onedrive copy of Backup is 1-2-3-4 copies and you will probably have a few other Backups in your Document folder and hence Onedrive as well. With FH V7 Rich Text you could add superscript digits in the Text from Source that cross-refer to numbered Notes.
