Coloured arrows - interpretation
I have just got a new gedcom file with some new members of my family. But when I open the file there is a lot of Coloured arrows. We are two family members working with the same family and both using FH6.2. I interpret the arrows as errors because of one or more duplicate persons in the tree. My col...

Edit gedcom tags/fields
I was looking for a method or a program that could edit the tags/fields of a gedcom file. I would as an example like to make a gedcom file with only name, gender, birth and dead tags. As I see it FH and the gedcom export plug in doesn't have this ability. I have also searched the net for a program t...

Re: Web pages - zoompast
Hi Mike
ZoomPast is really smart. Thanks a lot for reminding me. I have made an account and loaded a gedcom file. Really nice.
Kind regards

Re: Web pages
Hi Mike
I did read that - but as I already also have a full TNG website - I will probably just link to that. I had just hoped for a solution more like the offline tree of FH. I don't know Zoompast - but I will check it out.
Kind regards

Re: Web pages
Thanks a lot for the quick answer and the useful links. I am somewhat surprised that FH is not able to generate webtrees. Even Legacy is able to do it rather nicely and I had expected FH to do it even better. I have cast a vote for it and hope it will be implemented in the near future. Kind regards ...

Web pages
I have used FH 6.2 for some time and would now try to generate some webpages. I have it working after some tryouts ;). But I have not been able to generate a set of pages with a tree structure as in the program. How to do that (link)? Or as I suspect - it is not possible? Kind regards Klaus Yde Denm...

Re: Marking unsure relatives in the tree
Hi Mike
Thanks a lot. I had the impression that saved diagrams / charts was static. So that helps a lot. I read also about using icons. I think I have usable solution now
Kind regards

Re: Marking unsure relatives in the tree
Thanks for the answers. As I understand it - the easy way only works in a saved diagram. That is easy but not very useful. What I looked for was a marking of records that showed up every time at unsure relative was in a diagram and as i understand it it has to be the other not very easy solution for...

Marking unsure relatives in the tree
I am building a new tree of my relatives. Some of them I am not sure exist. Is there some easy way to mark them in the tree (color coding?) so I easily can see which have been verified and which have not? Of course I can see it by the sources - but they are not seen in tree. I had hoped it was possi...

Coloured arrows
I have just made my first merge with two test files. A copy of my original project and a copy of a tree got from My Heritage. About 100 posts from MH. I checked them before the merge and expected to get about 25 new persons added. I had read chapter 14 about merging several times before the merge an...

Re: Automatic Source marking
Hi Mike
Thanks for the prompt answer. As you can guess I havent darede to press the merge button yet. At the moment I am trying to work the process out before making any changes to my master file.
Kind regards

Automatic Source marking
I have got a gedcom file from a My Heritage user with a lot of new family members. I am not sure about the validity of the data. Is there a method or plugin that can mark every new record id in the gedcom file and/or project file with a source "tag" that says for example: "Data from MH XXX website"?...
