Re: Count of derived records

Hi Mike Just picking up on this original request. Here's a good example of where the current design falls down. I go to the records window and select the media tab. It tells me there are X individuals and Y families in the result set. It does not tell me how many Media records are found in the same ...

Hi Mike

Thanks - can I safely install the newer version over the old or do I need to uninstall first?

Hi Mike

I can confirm the Fact - To Do's have now gone. I make a new test and document to try to reproduce.

Re: Fact Set - To Do Lists

Hi Mike

Thanks for the reply. The problem actually sorted itself out when I ran the Re-Order out of Sequence Events from Tools. I guess if it can't find the record in the To Do Property Tab it then removes the To Do fact - not entirely sure. But the rogue records in that list are now gone.

Fact Set - To Do Lists

Hi Forum I have downloaded the objects that support recording the To Do lists for Individuals. It works okay except if I remove a To Do record from the To Do Property Box Tab for an Individual and Save. The same Individual still appears in the Custom Query 'To Do List' despite the record being remov...

Re: Birth Informant is showing Death Citation

David, Have you had a look at the "Witnesses Dialog" Section of the Family Historian Help File? That explains the process including what feeds through to the Witnesses' Property Box. Mervyn Hi Mervyn, I read through the help for Witness and it still does not explain why I see the Death Citation for...

Re: Birth Informant is showing Death Citation

Hi Forum

Supporting Information:

If I run the Plugin - List All Citations for a Source. The Death Citation is only registered to the Son and the Witnesses for the Death. Nothing can be seen to link this Death Citation to the Father?

Birth Informant is showing Death Citation

Hi Forum I need help understanding this one... I have a Father who 'Informed on the Birth of his Son. So the event is shown as a Witnessed Fact. This fact is showing two Citations; 1 for Birth of the Son, and another for the Death of the Son. Both Citations are valid for the Son only as they both su...

Re: How to Automatically Order Source Citations

Hi Mike

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I have Data Housekeeping OCD :D I was thinking of using the Citation Entry Date as the ordering criteria, but I take your point about how important this is.

Name Only Individuals - List Of

Hi Forum

Is there a way to obtain a list of Name Only Individuals, IE, those people entered via AS and Names Only and have no Individual Record ID?

Many Thanks

How to Automatically Order Source Citations

Hi Forum I am using AS to create all my FH data. I noticed today that when Citations are created they are not necessarily ordered correctly amongst already existing citations. I know there exists a way to manually order these but is there an automatic solution as handling this manually is a big task...

Re: Stronger Highlight of Selected Record

Hi Mike I could not get that first suggestion to work, most probably my misunderstanding of your instructions. Also I'm not sure it would help my cause as I use the record window to remember where I am in the list. If it was to automatically open the properties window I'm still left with the same di...

Re: Incorrect Relationship to Root

Hi Guys This is a bug, and as I reported it here in the forum I will take this up and report to Calico Pie as a bug with suggestions that the fix should at least follow the basic logic defined by Mike and myself (above). First and foremost if the individual is marked as un-sexed in FH, then relation...
