Hi Mike
Your suspicions are correct. I overlooked or had forgotten about that button next to parent up arrow. Getting old I guess.
Many thanks for solving that problem.

Re: Build Witness Events for Census Data
Hi Mike
Quick and Thorough as always
The technique to drill from the census event > source > list of individuals works for me. That really helps thank you. And as you say not much in it re both techniques.

Build Witness Events for Census Data
Hi Forum Wasn't sure where to post this question so placed it here. I'm using AS extensively to create my FH database. I use Source Method 1 (One Source per Household/Family Group). This is perfect from a Source/Citation point of view but for Census records I lose the advantage of having a witnessed...

Custom ID field for Children Window.
Hi Forum
Is it possible to add the Individual Custom ID field into the Child window for each Child. This would make it easier when going through research material when Parents and Children's names are the same across Generations.
See screen shot attached.

Hi Mike
Thank you - I'll look deeper into, sounds like a nice solution to separating out Facts to see more clearly.

Re: Military History for Property Box Tab
Hi Mike
Would these additional Tabs work retrospectively with already created Military and Census data. IE, if install these will the Military and Census facts I have already entered (mostly using AS) being visible in these new tabs?

Hi Mike
I have set this up but it only allows me to select one source at a time. I think it's because it forces me to set it up as a Parameter. See screen shot.

Re: Diagram Box Colours based on Flags
Hi Mike
Thanks very much.
It looks like AS is duplicating the Citation, once for say the Baptism, Census, Residence, etc and again for the <Whole Record>. Bahhh
Is there a quick way to remove these dup's from the <Whole Record> ?

Thank you Mike. I set this up and have found individuals (now with the diagram box coloured green) that should not be coloured this way. Re: Diagram Box Colours based on Flags
Hi Mike
I would like to take up your proposal option 2. As you say this has the benefit of using the pre-defined Sureties. I have set this up but am stuck as to how I get this to appear on the Main Tab. Can I please trouble you further for help (instructions) on this part.
Many thanks.

Re: Sources and Citations
Hi I'm not able to offer expert opinion - but I do have TMG9.5 still running whilst I migrate to FH6.2.2. As I see it the Master Source List in TMG very closely resembles the Fact Types in FH. I am making good use of Ancestral Sources (AS) to create my new FH database using Source Method 1. This cre...
