Hi Helen, there appears to be more to this than first thought. I first created by copying the knowledge base version of Census UK fields for the Electoral Register into my version of the Census UK Tab (it was easier this way than to create all of my setup into the knowledge base downloaded version)....

My version (uploaded here earlier) does not contain the Electoral Role fields; only the Census Years are present.

I don't mind applying the 1921 census field entries to the version in the knowledge base. I can do this later this evening.

I tried 5 other Plug-In's to see if these worked okay and they did which is odd. Anyway I installed FH once more and the Compare and Update functions of your Plug-In now work okay. Strange.

I have migrated to a new laptop running windows 11.
I have re-downloaded your Plug-in version 0.3.2

For some reason I'm getting this error message. It suggests a driver is missing? Can you help please?

I did exactly what you describe. Right click on the exe. From within the download folder. Choose Run as Administrator.

I always run application installers as Administrator, so it wasn't that.
Had Calico Pie suggested that might be the cause then fine, but they didn't and they recommended downloading that exact same package Nick Walker had suggested.

The Media paths are as I would have expected on the legacy laptop, no issues at all and all in the same folder/path. So I'm not sure how this has happened.
Anyway I followed your solution and that worked fine Thank You very much.

Hi Folks Another issue with migrating to this new Laptop running WIN11. The restore from Backup appeared to go okay but I noticed certain Media files have the wrong folder path name, I suspect this is because of the length of the path name. But I can't seem to fix it and have it stay fixed. How do I...

Thank you Mike, yes clicking repeatedly closes that message window. I'll untick that particular default setting. Strange as I have the same settings on my old machine and have never seen that message before. It was only when performing a Restore on a new laptop and copying the same settings over it ...

Calico Pie confirmed the same solution Nick has reported, apparently FH7 should install this when itself installs and for some reason it did not.

After successfully running a Restore FH Settings on a new Laptop running Windows 11 Home. I chose to reset the Plug-In Defaults. After which I received this error message which I cannot close?

Any ideas as to what is wrong and how to resolve?

Re your second thought, I have the previous installation files on the Laptop that needs to be returned once I have commissioned the new laptop. So I have them available.

I have now reported this to CP. I'll post back here any solution just in case someone else experiences the same thing.

Hi All I have received a new Dell XPS 15 under warranty, it is using Windows 11. I have downloaded and installed FH 7.0.11 from the FH website. But it fails to start correctly, the program claims two dll's are missing: MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll. Both of these exist in the windows system fold...

Mike - I have tested two scenarios under FH version 7.0.10 one for Birth and for Occupation without entering supporting information such as date and place. I can confirm your findings that no ASC was created.

When I then go on to enter a place the ASC is created.
