These are settings and results.

Facts added via merge included Birth, Death, Marriage, Burial including dates and location.

I double checked and I did not disable the Link new fields option in the Source Details dialogue. When I ran Where Used Record Links plugin the only results were INDI.SOUR and FAM.SOUR.

I am familiar with that process. When I do the Merge/Compare Procedure only a source is annotated to the name; not the individual facts i.e. birth, death etc. When I publish a report, the only fact cited is the name.

Thanks to Jane and Mike. Using the expressions you suggested met my requirement. Leaving the original expression in place then gave me a way to look at the original record. Will experiment with Mike's suggestions in Knowledge Base.

When using the expression =FactOwner(%FACT%,1,MALES_FIRST) this returns name with surname last. I would like to return Surname first. Can I add a qualifier to accomplish this?
