Can the internal record ID prefix in Family Historian be other than 'I', or be exported as such? Yes, resetting the options does change it to what you noted, but back on the basic options, 'brief' is indicated rather than 'full', changing it to 'full' reverts those settings so the place setting is the to put in source again. I think this setting is causing the issue with source creation: No idea why it is set that way, or what is should be for LFT.

Statistics are from LFT. I should have less than 100 sources. Mike, Has anyone reported on the FH7 Export to Gedcom (plugin) to Legacy Family Tree yet? I had a somewhat successful export with Export Gedcom File V4.1.3 to LFT Statistics of individuals, family and media look OK, but sources and citations have jumped far too much, by a factor of nearly 10 times. ...

but don't forget that AutoSave writes to file every 5 minutes. As a matter of practice, I have autosave turned off. I always do my own file save, since FH warns me that I have made changes. That way, if I make a mistake, I can easily undo it. Or I can "what if" analyses and simply close w/o saving....

But if you run it without having first selected any records, it won't know which records you are asking it to check, so the prompt will appear asking you to make a selection. Strangely, with v1.4.2, now always getting the prompt, even if box to retain is unticked. Even v1.4 now prompts each time, but without the retention tick box. Is this expected? Yes, as downloaded from the FH library, it has a '-' minus sign. For a test, I removed the '-' minus sign in the name, but still the Check Installed Plugins indicating 'not in store'. Though the Ancestors and Descendants Counts by Generation plugin runs OK as noted from v7 library, it shows 'not in store' when the plugin Check Installed Plugins against the Store is run.

I believe you Mike, I just haven't been able to deselect ALL records. I had thought exiting and starting FH, as well as even reinstalling the plugin would have done that. I am happy with just doing the selection within the record tabs. Sorry for belaboring this...I am OK with it now. The last thing ...
