Re: DNA link - show on diagram
I use Mike's method to produce exactly what I think you are looking for (with redactions for privacy). Chart.JPG All those with yellow highlight boxes have matching segments of DNA. Note the lines shown here are not all the descendants, only those who have done a DNA test, (although of course I coul...

Re: Clean Living Persons plugin error
Thanks Mike! Here are the Pop-ups, and after a couple of runs I was able to successfully create a private Gedcom as I had intended. FH-1.JPG FH-2.JPG The issue with Johannes HARRY appeared to be a strange character on the wedding date. It is [J] for Julian, but I don't believe I put it there, so per...

Re: Clean Living Persons plugin error
Thanks Mike! No Fact Date Warnings for the date range mentioned. I only have one warning in 1751, and that is Feb 1751, amazingly Mary MARRACK was baptised 1 Mar 1649 in Cornwall and died in Feb 1751 aged 101 years! I do have over 470 other Fact Date Warnings, a lot to do with notes I have put on pe...

Re: Clean Living Persons plugin error
Hi Mike! I am also getting an error Plugin-error.JPG I have tried many different settings in the "Export Gedcom File" and "Clean Living Persons" and every time it throws up the error. This last time I used the default settings for "Export Gedcom File" and the following CLP.JPG Is there anything you ...

Yes, I like the speed of this search, also the 'snippet' in the results so you can evaluate if you want to go to it.

Re: Downloads from Plugin Store
I am also experiencing the same issue (and have been for several hours that I am aware of). I get the error message as described, or the 404 page not found error. I have also submitted a ticket. This is happening to me in the Chrome browser, but I have just discovered a workaround (after seeing Mike...

Re: Gedsite
I have created a site using GEDSITE from my Family Historian file. It isn't perfect yet, but regular updates are happening. I am very happy with it so far. Please note that I have not yet completely migrated from TMG to Family Historian yet, as I have a lot of cleaning up to do in TMG first. So, you...

Re: FH TMG Direct import issues following V6.0.1
Mike - you mention in #6 that it would be easy to create a Plugin to move coordinates to the LAT/LONG fields...how much effort would this be? I am having this issue with my coordinates, and, although I 'could' just manually re-enter them all (a couple of hundred), I would prefer not to, if it didn't...

Re: Saving Contact Info for Living People
I like the idea of this Mike, and installed the components, but am not sure what I didn't do correctly, as I cannot update the Contact Tab details. It shows the field names, but no field boxes to fill in. I thought there might be a 'fact' to add the details...what have I done wrong?
Thanks!
Chris
Thanks!

Re: TMG to FH Name Styles
Thanks Mike - yes, I had already tried looking there but, unfortunately, the information has not come across. It is a pretty big issue for me, as I have about 400 names using a particular style. I will try some manipulation on the TMG side to see if I can solve it that way, and will report back with...

TMG to FH Name Styles
I am also in the process of migrating from TMG to FH. I have done a trial import to play around with the data, as I have quite a lot of tweaks in my file. This FHUG is excellent, and I am learning a lot from searching the forum, the Knowledge Base, and the Youtube videos, so thanks to all those who ...
